Description

The Operations Generalist performs more difficult tasks for all teams, rotating functions on an as needed basis, and at the highest quality standards.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:



  • Data entry (DE) functions including operating a CRT/PC terminal by entering required customer data referencing, demonstrating superior knowledge of a variety of source documents and coded information, and routinely processing more difficult accounts with accuracy and speed.
  • Data control inbound (DCI) functions such as demonstrating superior knowledge of a variety of source documents and coded information and routinely processing more difficult accounts with accuracy and speed.
  • Exception control group (ECG) functions such as high-level quality checks on DCI and DE rejects for accuracy and identifying trends and report findings to supervisor.
  • Assist in the mailroom, imaging, and data control outbound teams as needed.
  • Handling exception items per procedures.
  • Accepts complex assignments from all teams willingly.
  • Maintains the highest productivity rating with minimal errors.
  • Maintain and comply with all procedures.
  • Above average in attendance and punctuality.
  • Works overtime as required to ensure the timely completion of all assignments.
  • Shows initiative in bringing problems and possible solutions to the lead and supervisor.
  • Demonstrates leadership ability and potential for further advancement.
  • Performs hourly hand and wrist stretching exercises.
  • Other duties and projects as assigned.


KNOWLEDGE AND MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:



  • Must be able to grasp and retain instructions with a high level of quality.
  • High level of concentration.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and direction.
  • Ability to stand for an extended period of time and lift 15lbs from ground to table while conducting mailroom/imaging functions.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Specialized training in keyboarding or prior keyboard experience.
  • 6 months of experience in the Cass operations department.
  • Advanced knowledge of all operation functions (data entry, DCI, DCO, ECG, and mailroom).
