What you will do:
As the Regional Sales Manager, within our Ducted Systems (DS) business, you will sell our HVAC Commercial equipment (i.e., packaged rooftop units, water-source heat pumps, dedicated outside Air Systems, etc.) to our BSNA (Building Solutions North American) branch channel and Agent-Resell channels to serve their needs.

The territory for this position is Northeast Area.

How you will do it:

  • Develop and manage annual sales growth plan and forecast sales utilizing opportunity pipeline management.

  • Develop, coordinate and participate in account management to support BSNA and Agent-Sell channel growth.

  • Coordinate pricing strategies in partnership with channel.

  • Drive product launches to the BSNA and Agent Buy-Resell channel.

  • Be the Subject Matter Expert on DS equipment and support channel partners at customer product trainings.

  • Implement programs, tools and support requirements to advance the selling effectiveness of equipment sales organization.

What we look for:
Required

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, marketing, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in sales (commercially focused) within the HVAC industry.

  • Demonstrated consultative selling process.

  • Able to speak with a technical audience.

  • Pipeline management within a CRM system (preferably Salesforce).

  • Ability to travel 60%

I've been with JCI for 4 years and been working in the commercial HVAC industry for 13+ years. My experience includes sales management, team leadership and mentorship, and business development. If you consider this role, we will work together to support an ever-growing network of channel partners and to identify career & personal development opportunities for you. Expect to be challenged in this role to gain a deep understanding of our channel partner's business model, learn new tools and systems, identify key and target markets and sales growth opportunities, be involved on key projects, make business decisions and judgements in your region, and perform market and competitive analysis. As a leader, I'm focused on continuous learning and development.
