JOB SUMMARY
The Supervisor, Programmatic Digital Ad Ops ensures the successful fulfillment of programmatically sold Digital advertising campaigns for Spectrum Reach. Works on programmatic deals supporting order entry, rekeying of excel documents/smartsheets into respective SSPs/DSPs.
Responsible for the successful fulfillment and stewardship of Programmatic, locally sold Online and Ads Everywhere campaigns across Spectrum Reach markets. Manages day-to-day issues, serves as point of contact for escalations, and maintains business guides and process, ensuring their Operations team members effectively execute the day-to-day advertising campaign needs.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
  • Supervise a team of Programmatic Digital Ad Ops Specialists engaged in the day-to-day digital fulfillment process for digital campaigns.
  • Work with publishers and SSPs to debug and resolve tech/inventory issues.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SSP Platforms (Magnite, Freewheel, Pubmatic, Index Exchange), and other Advertising software or technology.
  • Engage team and vendor partners as needed on delivery of campaigns, ensuring campaigns are scheduled and executed accurately.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert as it relates to industry best practices, troubleshooting campaign-specific issues, and identifying trends. *
  • Serve as escalation point on campaign and fulfillment issues, tracking issues through to resolution.
  • Supervise accuracy and productivity of programmatic Operations team.
  • Oversee the review of daily and weekly advertiser campaign reports to track performance and ensure teams are addressing campaign delivery issues.
  • Identify, uncover, and quickly resolve issues with campaigns and communicate plans with impacted parties.
  • Support and coordinate training process and rollout of new products and platforms (such as ad servers, order management systems, etc.) to ensure proper execution of order processing and technical fulfillment.
  • Articulate to management opportunities to create and enhance processes and workflow.
  • Maintain updated Operations training materials for use by Operations, Sales, and external staff members.
  • Participate in the education of internal and external team members and ensure proper rollout of all new tools, process, and techniques.
  • Escalate and alert management of campaign trends and issues.
  • Focus on quality, timeliness, efficiencies, and process is critical.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced environment; pathological attention to detail
  • At least 2+ years' experience working Ad Operations at a media company, DSP, SSP or ad network ideally in programmatic space.
  • Experience in using Ad servers, DSP, SSP, DMPs and working with ad networks.
  • Knowledge of Google Analytics or other site analytics tools
  • Strong analytical skills, including expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to influence and build relationships in a cross-functional environment *
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new applications/processes/products quickly
  • Ability to solve practical problems and be able to live in the grey area when no black and white instructions are provided.
  • Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Extensive phone interaction with both internal and external customers.
  • Sense of urgency to requests and strong ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with ad management systems such as DoubleClick, Cadent, FreeWheel, Innovid, Sizmek.
  • Familiarity or work experience using third party inventory providers, real time bidding, programmatic.
  • Education
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
