The Opportunity: We are seeking a full time Retail Support Team Specialist to join our team. Under general supervision, this role will execute assigned duties with efficiency and accuracy within promised service level agreements. Duties include providing phone support to front line staff involved in member service delivery, handling member fulfillment requests, providing full member service (except loans) to remote members, and handling administrative, documentation and project tasks, as assigned.
What You'll Do:
- Provide research, problem solving and phone support to front line staff.
- Handle member fulfillment requests.
- Provide service support on membership matters and deposit accounts to remote members and potential members.
- Conduct quality assurance for membership and deposit account documents and data.
- Handle administrative assignments for specialty processes such as IRAs, deceased and fiduciary accounts, business accounts, document management, and remote wire transfers.
- Recommend process improvements for internal and external member support.
- Identify training needs based on trends in incoming requests.
- Maintain a high level of policy, process, procedural, and product knowledge.
- Maintain a high level of user knowledge on all retail banking systems.
- Interface with other departments to provide problem resolution for members.
- Special projects, system testing, and project tasks, as assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Two years of college, associate degree preferred.
- At least two years of progressively responsible platform sales and service experience in retail banking.
- Demonstrated knowledge of retail financial products and services.
- Effective interpersonal skills to relate to internal customers in a friendly, courteous, professional manner.
- Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Proven time management skills and the ability to initiate and embrace change.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collect and analyze data. Average reasoning and mathematical ability.
