JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

The Penn State Stuckeman School's Marketing and Communications Office is seeking a student communicationsinternto fill a part-time, photo- and video-intensive position for the fall 2025 semester. The intern will be asked to work 10-15 hours per week, which could include covering events during evenings and weekends, at a rate of $14/hour.

The intern's responsibilities include:capturing video and taking photos of Stuckeman students and their work, special visitors to the school, faculty, and events; cleaning up photo/video files for use in social media, publications, and on websites; handling post production on footage to create high quality videos; generating marketing ideas targeting design students; and supporting related activities.

The ideal candidate should have experience capturing photos and video with a DSLR camera, knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Premiere Pro, and be curious about activities related to the design disciplines. The applicant must be dependable, flexible, and organized.

Theinternmust demonstrate attention to detail and possess solid photography and videography skills, including retouching and post production.Theinternship is open to rising juniors and seniors, as well as graduate students, majoring in advertising, marketing, graphic design, film, or related field.

This paidinternship or students may take theinternship for credit. To be considered, applicants must submit a cover letter, resume, and three video/photo samples in WorkDay. Those who apply without supplying the requested materials will not be considered for the position.
