WHO WE ARE: The National Multiple Sclerosis Society mobilizes people and resources to drive research for a cure and to address the challenges of everyone affected by MS. To fulfill this mission, the Society funds cutting-edge research, drives change through advocacy, facilitates professional education, collaborates with MS organizations around the world, and provides programs and services designed to help people with MS and their families move their lives forward. We partner with volunteers to accomplish our work. Staff members engage volunteers through effective and timely communications, facilitating meaningful opportunities, and continually seeking and providing feedback for reciprocal growth and learning. The Vice President of Fundraising, Event Experience & Operations oversees the strategic execution and operation of all Society-produced fundraising events-ensuring they are not only well-executed but also aligned with revenue goals, operational plans, and expense targets. This role reflects the organization's evolving strategy and the growing importance of delivering integrated, mission-driven experiences at scale.In addition, the Vice President unifies multiple functions under one cohesive leadership structure-including event experience, event production, inbound/outbound call center operations, and a centralized team supporting national fundraising. As both a seasoned operator and a strategic thought partner, this leader translates big-picture vision into actionable, high-quality execution. They collaborate closely with cross-functional event and fundraising leaders to ensure their goals are brought to life with excellence, efficiency, and innovation, building the systems, teams, and partnerships needed to deliver meaningful engagement and sustained operational success. This highly collaborative role provides strategic leadership across multiple regions, managing diverse teams to drive event success. Additionally, the VP serves as a key collaborator and thought partner, working closely with Regional Leaders, Development Vice Presidents, and reports to the SVP of Peer to Peer and Event Fundraising to align and optimize fundraising efforts. Compensation & Benefits: The estimated hiring compensation range for this role is $165,000-$200,000.
