Job Summary

This job is responsible for the supervision and administration of the Physical Security Program. It involves backup responsibilities for the Manager, Nuclear Security position

Job Description

Key Accountabilities:

  • Supervise security analysts responsible for the security computer system, corrective action program, procedures and various other security related functions
  • Serve as a regulatory interface with the NRC
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding security regulations
  • Provide daily oversight I support of security operations
  • Oversee the safety-security program
  • Interface with and support the security services teaming partner
  • Handle, process, create, and control safeguards information
  • Establish and maintain strong business relationships with all station departments
  • Fill an ERO position and provide outage support
  • Consistently seek out and implement program improvements

Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements

  • 5 years' experience in the nuclear security industry- required
  • 2 years' experience as a supervisor /leader - required
  • Working knowledge of 1OCFR Part 73.55 - required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments
  • Possess systematic problem - solving skills
