SECURITY GUARD

PAY RATE:$19.00 PER HOUR

PART TIME

CITY: LAKEWOOD

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of all patrons, staff, and property within our shopping mall. The ideal candidate will maintain a strong presence on-site, deter criminal activity, and respond quickly to any emergencies or incidents. This role requires vigilance, excellent judgment, and a commitment to providing a safe and welcoming environment for all visitors.

REPONSIBILITIES:

Patrol mall premises to ensure safety and prevent incidents

• Monitor security cameras and access points

• Respond promptly to alarms, emergencies, or disturbances

• Provide assistance to visitors and handle lost & found

• Write accurate incident reports

• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.

INTERVIEW AND SITE REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have an ACTIVE California Guard Card
• Dress for an Interview; Business Professional
• Natural Hair Color
• Cover possible exposed tattoos
• No sweat suits, hoodies or tank tops
• No sandals, slides or flip flops

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
