DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this important role, you will serve as the Agency Open Records Officer and assist in researching and responding to requests for public records and subpoenas. Acting as the Regulatory Coordinator, you will assist Department Counsel in drafting and reviewing proposed regulations. Additional duties include but are not limited to: assisting attorneys with all aspects of an administrative proceeding and/or civil case including trial or other hearings, performing legal research, analyzing legal issues, and preparing legal memoranda for attorney review. You will have the opportunity to maintain the law library by purchasing and investigating new reference material, purging outdated material and monitoring the needs of the attorneys and support staff to ensure that appropriate materials are procured and necessary resources are available to all OGC staff.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, three days in office/two days telework (or in the office as needed). In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of varied office management or staff work within a public or private legal office.
Additional Requirement:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
