Purpose of Position

This student worker position would help develop a student develop real-time expertise in a rapidly evolving field, while providing critical support during the implementation of UTS 165.

Essential Functions

Under the direction of the Associate Systemwide Compliance Officer, Chief Privacy and Data Protection officer, the Student Worker will assist with:

  • Creating privacy training materials.
  • Evaluation of privacy terms in purchasing and contracting; and
  • Meeting the expanded requirements of UTS 165 for Privacy.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications

  • Law student with successful completion of first year at an accredited law school or enrolled in graduate school, with one year complete.
  • Strong writing ability and project management skills are required.
Preferred Qualifications

  • Law student preferred but open to graduate students.
Working Conditions

  • May work around standard office conditions.
  • Repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.
  • Hybrid work environment (remote & office)
