As a Security Professional - Financial Patrols in Orangeburg, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more .

As an unarmed patrol officer at a leading financial institution, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for staff and visitors. Pay Rate: $19.75 - $20.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following security procedures and site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the financial institution and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior or activity within the location, documenting findings as required.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and addressing unauthorized access attempts.
• Support emergency response activities, including evacuations or medical emergencies, according to established protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and emergency personnel as situations arise.

Minimum Requirements:

• New York Security Guard Registration (Guard Card) is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
