Job Description:

The Clinical Laboratory Technologist (Medical Technologist) assists the Laboratory Manager in achieving efficient Laboratory operation by performing clinical tests and assuming limited administrative functions. Supports laboratory testing services by performing specimen collection and processing, quality control and maintenance functions and results reporting and verification.

This position is for both Elizabethtown and Ticonderoga Campuses.

Education / Skills Required:
* Bachelor's degree in medical technology (hospital-based formal internship required) OR
* ASCP, NCA or equivalent certification is highly recommended.
* Meets minimum requirements for medical Technologist as described in NYS Department of Health regulations 58-2.4
* NYS ED License as Clinical Laboratory Technologist
