Production Associate, Oakwood, GA

Pay: $20.59 plus a $1.00 shift differential

Shift: Evening (2nd) 3:00pm - 1:00am Monday - Thursday

As aProduction Associate you will be a crucial part of our operations, ensuring that quality products are available to our customers when they need them. Your work will directly affect people's lives!

Primary Responsibilities

• Retrieving & staging of materials and keeping filling line stocked with cans, pails, labels and other packaging materials, including operation of material handling equipment.
• Follows batch slip instructions and verify that each step of the process has occurred.
• Operating, adjusting and monitoring of filling and packaging machines and equipment.
• Monitors fill weights, checks for proper labeling of cans and labeling of cases. Visual monitoring to ensure that materials are being handled and supplied appropriately to and on the equipment.
• Evaluates and takes test samples for the lab, including drawdown and color comparisons.
• Will be filling the following containers: quarts, gallons, 2-gallon pails, 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums and 250-gallon totes.
• Performs autonomous care PMs.
• Maintains accurate records and monitors progress of scheduled work orders.
• Works with tubs, tanks and with pumps and hoses.
• Cleans equipment after each batch and helps maintain a clean and neat work area.
• Utilizes computer to run programs and collect data.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
• Must be able to lift 50lb+ on a regular basis
• Basic computer skills
• Ability to differentiate between shades and colors of products
