Job Description

Exciting Opportunity at MSK: Application Analyst II - EPIC Beacon

Join our dynamic Epic Beacon team as an Application Analyst II where you'll tackle complex business challenges through technology, workflow optimization, and integration solutions. This role provides the opportunity to shape system design, lead cross-functional initiatives, and drive meaningful improvements in operational efficiency and digital transformation - particularly within the Bone Marrow Transplant & Cell Therapy services.

Role Overview

    Configure and maintain Epic documentation tools such as flowsheets, smart sets, workspace activities and clinical notes
  • Assist with answering tickets in Epic Beacon work ques
  • Analyze complex business needs and develop integrated technology and workflow solutions.
  • Identify system gaps and contribute technical expertise to functional specifications.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical stakeholders, especially in the Bone Marrow Transplant and Cell Therapy departments.
  • Actively engage in technical discussions to improve solution design and implementation
  • Participate as Beacon application representative in integrated focus area(s) within the Epic application project.

Key Qualifications

  • Certification in EPIC Beacon required (Plus to have for internal candidates)
  • Certification in EPIC Ambulatory or EPIC Inpatient (Plus to have for internal candidates)
  • Experience working in a Bone Marrow Transplant environment is good to have
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of business process analysis and system design.

  • Ability to work in a high volume environment with limited supervision
  • Ability to clarify ambiguous problems and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in configuring and scaling systems to support business goals.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage stakeholders across the organization

Additional Information:

  • Pay Range: $111,600.00-$178,600.00
  • Reporting to Associate Director, Application Services
  • Schedule: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM EST, Monday - Friday
  • Location: Hybrid; 3x a month (with flexibility as needed) at 885 Third Ave, New York, NY
