Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$22.73 - $28.41 / hour

This position is responsible for the daily operations of Contracts, Refunds and System Specialists for the Central Business Office. Must have the ability to effectively review insurance contracts and be able to calculate expected reimbursement. Manages and reviews contracts to ensure calculations in Epic are accurate. Supervises refund team to ensure all solicited and unsolicited refunds are processed accordingly. This position is also responsible for system billing program SSI and ensures that specialty claims/reports are worked in Epic. Must be highly motivated to promote and reach department goals by team building and developing staff, along with continuous monitoring of work to maximize productivity for both in-house and telecommuting staff. Goal setting is an important function in this role and the ability to develop, analyze data and prepare reports for trending is required. Ability to effectively motivate, supervise, train, and develop staff to create a positive work environment that maximizes productivity while contributing to the achievement of individual and department goals. The ability to handle stress and complex issues is essential. Managing proper staffing levels to ensure critical functions are covered is necessary.

3 years medical/billing practice management.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Previous experience within a supervisory role, preferably in a healthcare billing setting.

Knowledge of EPIC is preferred.

Coding Certifications helpful.
