GSK is currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Planner to join our Team in Rockville, MD. In this role, you'll be responsible for improving and maintaining work force productivity and work quality by eliminating potential delays and obstacles through proper planning and coordination of all required parts, tools, machine downtime and manpower. Database responsibilities include the coordinator-level operation and data maintenance within the computerized maintenance management system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and support the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to include managing Preventative Maintenance (PM) schedules, updating equipment information, and troubleshooting minor technical issues
  • Release, assign, print and distribute PM work orders in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with the LSM/SSM Facility Supervisors to assign work orders to specific individuals and schedule third-party contractors as needed
  • Coordinate scheduling of equipment maintenance and repairs with Operations Department with little to no impact on manufacturing schedule.
  • Assist with the development and improvement of formal technical training and provide hands-on database training to all GSK employees
  • Periodically review work order backlogs to ensure that proper workflow is being maintained
  • Assess weekly maintenance and repair schedule to ensure adherence to schedule and on time completion of all cGMP, EH&S, and Statutory critical maintenance
  • Perform data maintenance in support of equipment and associated maintenance plans for the site
  • Perform mapping of GSK employees to PM workstream roles in M-ERP
  • Act as PM Deviation coordinator to assist in on-time completion of tasks and notifications

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years GMP experience OR High School Diploma and minimum of 7 years of GMP experience

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • College or trade school certification preferred
  • Facilities or Production experience
  • Experience using and maintaining CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able to lift 40lbs
  • Computer skills including expertise in MS Office Products.
The annual base salary for new hires in this position ranges from $105,600 to $176,000 taking into account a number of factors including work location within the US market, the candidate's skills, experience, education level and the market rate for the role. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program which is dependent on the level of the role.
