Job Title: Vaccines Training Manager - Retail Market Segment

Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vaccines Training Manager to lead the development and execution of training programs tailored to the retail market segment. This role will be instrumental in enabling field teams and Key Account Managers (KAMs) to effectively engage retail partners, drive vaccination uptake, and build long-term partnerships. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in vaccines, retail pharmacy, and account management, with a passion for elevating the capabilities of commercial teams to deliver exceptional customer value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Deliver Training: Develop and execute engaging, impactful training programs focused on vaccine products, retail market strategies, and key account management techniques.
  • Retail Market Focus: Customize training content for retail stakeholders (e.g., pharmacy chains, mass merchandisers, grocery pharmacies), ensuring relevance to retail-specific needs, regulations, and business drivers.
  • KAM Enablement: Equip Key Account Managers with strategic selling skills, business acumen, and tools to build and grow national and regional retail accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Market Access to ensure consistent messaging, aligned strategies, and integration of insights into training curricula.
  • Performance Analysis: Evaluate training effectiveness using KPIs and feedback mechanisms to continuously optimize program impact and learner engagement.
  • Market Intelligence Integration: Stay current on market trends, competitor strategies, and retail landscape shifts to incorporate relevant insights into training materials.
  • Coaching & Field Support: Provide in-field coaching, support new hire onboarding, and serve as a resource for ongoing skill development and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in life sciences, business, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
  • 5+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, preferably in vaccines, with strong experience in retail markets and/or key account management.
  • Experience in commercial training, sales enablement, or learning & development strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
  • Proven track record of developing and delivering impactful training solutions.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business goals into training outcomes.
  • Ability to travel as needed to support training initiatives

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with adult learning principles and instructional design.
  • Strong understanding of the U.S. immunization landscape, including retail provider dynamics.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, data analytics, video editing software, and digital training platforms (e.g., LMS).
