What You Will Do
As our Account Executive - Logistics Service Provider Vertical, you'll be responsible for selling the company's products and services to Net New customers. These products include transportation specific SaaS solutions for Transport Execution, Freight Procurement, Dock Scheduling, Yard Management, and Real-time Visibility. Requires travel to customer sites and events in a face to face environment.
  • Effectively manage a sales pipeline, achieve sales targets, project accurate revenue forecasts, and lead strategic enterprise sales cycle.
  • Prepare clear, concise, and professional proposals to new and existing customers.
  • Respond to RFI's (Request for Information) and RFP's (Request for Proposal).
  • Provide regular reports on sales activities, results and forecasts.
  • Establish C-level and VP-level contacts in order to develop new sales opportunities.
  • Participation in industry conferences, seminars, and other related events
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience successfully selling SaaS solutions, working for an organization similar to Transporeon
  • A background in supply chain, logistics or transportation is preferable, as a source of domain expertise
  • A track record of consistently meeting and exceeding an annual quota
  • Exemplary presentation and communication across all levels of an organization
  • Advanced selling capability that showcases your commitment to strategy, customer relations, negotiation and ability to close
  • Technical ability to be proficient with MS Dynamics, Gong, SalesLoft and ZoomInfo
