$86,000.00 - $142,000.00

Compensation may vary based on the job level and your geographic work location. Relocation support is offered for eligible candidates.

The Lead Copywriter develops enterprise communication materials by creative design and creative writing services to effectively represent the products, services, brands and/or the organization to customers and consumers. You will apply various communication strategies to create an impression, raise awareness, and encourage a preference and response by the target audience for the organization and its products, services and brands. You will report to the Director, Marketing.

In this flex office/home role, you will be expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month from one of the following office locations: Madison, WI 53783; Boston, MA 02110; Denver, CO 80112; Eden Prairie, MN 55343; Keene, NH 03431; St. Joseph, MO 64507; Phoenix, AZ 85034

Primary Accountabilities

  • You will develop a deep understanding of the company's brand positioning and accurately communicates the brand positioning through all communication touchpoints.
  • You will work with internal partners across the enterprise to ensure consistency of brand execution across all channels and marketing and enterprise efforts.
  • You will partner with teams within the enterprise to understand their business challenges and recommend content solutions.
  • You will lead the creating of relevant and engaging content for key audiences.
  • You will partner with peers to create campaign content that drives the business.
  • You will utilize brand standards and brand foundational knowledge to provide creative and copy direction to internal designers, writers and external agencies to develop creative that supports operating companies and enterprise objectives, accurately portraying the brand to emotionally connect with consumers.
  • You will build underlying strategy for campaigns through data and consumer research.
  • You will monitor marketing and technology trends, competitive and consumer/customer activity to forecast changes and evolve marketing communications strategy.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Advertising agency experience strongly desired
  • AI experience strongly desired
  • Demonstrated experience in an advertising or marketing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, developing, communicating, and executing comprehensive marketing strategies and plans.
  • Demonstrated experience communicating, presenting, and persuading all levels of leadership.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully leading large, cross functional or complex projects.
  • Demonstrated experience using marketing concepts, strategies, practices and tools.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy and brand building.
  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support or service.
