Position Purpose
Under minimal supervision, the Marketing Coordinator works in collaboration with Brand Managers/Directors to support a portfolio of brands in the marketplace by executing strategic and annual brand plans that enable Delicato Sales and Trade partners to meet distribution and depletion objectives with the overall brands strategy.
Essential Duties
Brand Support
- Partners with Brand Managers/ Portfolio Directors in the development of strategic brand planning.
- Supports Managers/Directors with components of of the marketing mix including packaging, content and POS development, promotions, tracking of pricing actions and trade and consumer communications.
- Develops and manages the execution of national and/or regional marketing campaigns.
- Coordinates the development and distribution of marketing collateral (sell sheets, POS, promotional items).
- Ensures brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
- Supports the management of outside brand agency partners, their budgets, QBR reporting documents and timelines.
Digital Marketing
- If brand relevant, manage content calendars for social media schedule and monitor posts across platforms. Track digital performance metrics (engagement, conversion, reach) and generate reports.
- Update brand website content provided by Brand Managers/ Portfolio Directors; assist with e-commerce coordination where relevant.
Trade Marketing & Sales Support
- Develop brand presentations and support materials for trade marketing / distributor meetings.
- Coordinate event logistics for tastings, consumer activation and trade shows where relevant.
- Collaborate with field sales on in-store promotions and retail programming.
Market & Competitor Analysis
- Assist with gathering market intelligence and tracking competitor activity.
- Compile performance reports for key brands, campaigns, and promotional efforts for key brands.
- Conduct pricing and packaging audits or surveys in key markets.
Project & Asset Management
- Maintain marketing asset libraries (logos, bottle shots, campaign artwork).
- Serve as project manager by tracking timelines and deliverables across multiple brand initiatives.
- Liaise with and direct vendors (agencies, printers, photographers) to ensure timely execution.
- Executes rotating functions shared with Associate Brand Managers (developing team building events, coordinating winemaker travel, creating The Marketing Minute communication, managing team learning and training opportunities, etc.)
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work with PR, Digital, Creative Servies, Promotions, Trade Marketing, Sales, Winemaking and Supply Chain to align marketing efforts.
- Participate in planning meetings and contribute to marketing strategy discussions.
- Support internal communication around marketing initiatives and launches.
- With guidance from Brand Managers/ Portfolio Directors, engage cross functional partners (Sales, CSI, Finance, Operations, and Winemaking) to implement plans to meet annual and long-term financial goals.
Additional Duties
- Develops and executes departmental administrative projects and other tasks assigned by VP Marketing
- Assist department with external and internal events, tastings, and meetings. This could include setup, take down, pouring, coordination of volunteers, decor, ordering lunch, etc.

Minimum Requirements
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or comparable discipline
- 1 year of marketing or related experience
- Wine Industry experience preferred
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ability to apply analytical, problem-solving, creative, and organizational skills to make timely, sound decisions
- Excellent planning and communication skills
- Proficient in social media platforms such as Instagram, Meta ads and analytical tools
- Self-starter, detail oriented, and results driven attitude
- Ability to work within a team environment and build cooperative and collaborative relationships with those inside and outside the department
- Strong computer skills including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

Working Conditions
- Office environment
- Required to drive automotive vehicle or equipment
- Occasionally may be required to lift and carry cases of wine
- May need to determine color, taste and smell of wine using eyes, tongue, and nose

The pay range for this position is $74,749.92 to $116,782.56. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Actual placement within range will be contingent upon a number of factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, education, experience, internal equity and alignment with market data.
