Regulatory Affairs - EHS Assistant

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide administrative assistance to the regulatory affairs and EHS teams, including filing and tracking documents, preparing reports, and maintaining databases.
  • Regulatory Submissions: Supporting the regulatory affairs team in preparing and submitting regulatory documents.
  • Communication: Communicating with internal teams to gather information and updates, as well as with regulatory agencies.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines throughout product development, manufacturing, and distribution.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of regulatory activities.
  • Supporting the maintenance of regulatory information management systems.
  • Scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with EHS policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Participate in inspections, assessments, and surveys to identify potential hazards.
  • Assist in investigating accidents, injuries, and near-miss incidents, completing necessary reports.
  • Maintain EHS records and files, including safety reports, permits, and audits.
  • Collect and analyze data related to EHS performance metrics.
  • Assist with developing and delivering EHS training programs.
  • Assist in overseeing all environmental health and safety programs of the facility.
  • Data entry and interpretations of various KPIs and processes of the facility.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Adhere to company safety requirements.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a life science or a related field, or a combination of equivalent education and experience.
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize to meet established timelines.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Frequently required to sit, talk, and hear.
  • Frequently required to stand and walk.
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Vision ability including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to travel occasionally by air or car to attend business meetings and conduct audits.

Pay scale: $24.00-$26.00 per hour
