We have an opportunity for an Aftermarket Service Manager to join our Manitowoc, WI team. You will be responsible for leading all post-sale service and support operations, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and driving continued revenue through aftermarket parts and services. This role manages a $35M parts sales portfolio and plays a critical role in customer retention, operational efficiency, and strategic growth. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and a customer-centric mindset to the organization.

You will:

  • Department Leadership: Oversee global aftermarket sales and service operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and customer expectations.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies to achieve aftermarket sales targets and service performance objectives.
  • Sales Enablement & Support: Provide guidance, forecasting, and issue resolution support to distributor principals and sales teams related to parts sales.
  • Distributor Management: Lead and support distributor field sales efforts, particularly in complex or high-value opportunities; accompany sales personnel on customer visits as needed.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Enhance the end-to-end customer experience-from warranty and service calls to parts acquisition and equipment repair.
  • Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in service processes to reduce call abandonment rates and increase first-call resolution.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in aftermarket sales and service, preferably within a global service organization.
  • Industry experience in food service and/or refrigeration preferred.
  • Proven experience in aftermarket service management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement effective service strategies.
  • Experience managing large-scale sales operations and customer service functions.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 25-40% of travel required, including international travel-must possess a valid passport.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to navigate complex, variable situations.
  • Proven ability to instill a customer-first mindset within service teams, supported by measurable goals and KPIs.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, interpret strategic direction, and negotiate resources and business plans.
  • Previous experience using Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $110700 - $205600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
