JOB SUMMARY: This position plays a critical role within the Human Resource Information System team to optimize processes and document all standard operating procedures and resolve process / procedure issues. This position requires strong Human Resource Information System knowledge and analytical skills, along with the ability to exercise judgment. Ensure compliance of established policies and procedures as well as federal, state, and local regulations in addition to compliance programs such as SOX and Hi-Trust. Serve as the subject matter expert for Human Resource Information Systems.
JOB ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manage and maintain the HRIS, ensuring data integrity, system security, and customization of system features.
2. Audit and analysis of HRIS data to identify issues or errors. Research and problem solve issues as they arise; performs root cause analysis to determine the cause of system/processing errors and develops recommendations to address findings and prevent future errors
3. Develop techniques to improve the efficiency and accuracy of HRIS processes and procedures. Create/maintain documentation of said process and procedures.
4. Participate in HRIS project management including system implementations and integrations with databases related to HRIS
5. Monitor and implement system upgrades and enhancements to ensure the HRIS remains current and effective.
6. Liaise with HRIS vendors to resolve technical issues and ensure optimal system performance.
7. Manage user access and permissions within the HRIS to ensure data security and compliance.
8. Oversee data migration processes during system upgrades or transitions to new HRIS platforms.
9. Collaborate, coordinate, and communicate across disciplines, departments, and levels within the organization including but not limited to Talent, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, and Technology.
10. Creates, Prepares, and distributes standard HRIS reports in addition to managing ad-hoc report requests and monitoring data flow between various systems
11. Design, develop, and maintain HRIS dashboards to provide real-time insights and analytics to HR and management teams.
12. Create visually appealing and easy-to-understand data visualizations to represent HR metrics and trends.
13. Provide training and support to HR staff and other users on HRIS functionalities, updates, and dashboards.
14. Maintain confidentiality of all data and comply with federal regulation and company policy on release/reporting of data.
15. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and requirements.
16. Maintain compliance with SOX procedures, Hi-Trust, and other company mandated compliance programs.
17. Demonstrate the Company's Core Competencies and values held within.
18. Please note due to the exposure of PHI sensitive data -- this role is considered to be a High Risk Role.

JOB SCOPE:
The incumbent works under minimal supervision and relies on established guidelines and experience to complete job responsibilities. Work requires a broad range of knowledge of the HRIS & Payroll fields gained through experience and is varied and complex. The incumbent applies knowledge of policies and procedures as well as the knowledge gained through experience to solve problems and to assist team members with application of policy and procedure.
