Our company is one of the most significant publicly traded water, wastewater service and natural gas providers in the U.S. Essential Utilities, Inc. has a Pittsburgh, PA position for an IT Manager-Asset Management Applications. 1. Lead a team of IT Systems Analysts in supporting the use of SAP Enterprise Asset Management, Project Systems, and Device Management, Primavera P5 and other software applications by Peoples' Engineering, Construction, Operations, and Customer Service departments. Support responsibilities include analyzing and correcting system problems, advising and assisting users, performing mass data updates, and designing and implementing system enhancements = 35%. 2. Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP EAM, Project Systems, Device Management, and related functionality and how it can be best applied to Peoples' business processes. Identify process improvement and cost saving opportunities. Advise business on IT-related matters pertaining to SAP, Primavera P5 and other assigned applications = 25%. 3. Recruit, train, and mentor staff. Prepare and conduct performance reviews and perform other required staff administrative duties = 10%. 4. Work with business contacts to understand their short-term and long-term needs and develop plans to address them. Work with the business to scope out and prioritize projects and requests = 10%. 5. Monitor department workload, plan and manage projects, assign tasks, review progress, prepare status reports, and provide input and guidance when appropriate = 20%. Computer-related or engineering bachelor's degree and five years of experience supporting IT applications.
