Job Summary

The HR Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Human Resources Business Partner teams in providing comprehensive HR services to managers and employees. This role is responsible for providing support and coordination in the consistent and effective application of policies, procedures, and practices of the Human Resources department. The HR Coordinator is also responsible for maintaining and preparing HR reports and acting as a liaison to HR Center Led Teams such as talent acquisition, total rewards, HRIS, payroll.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

  • Develop and prepare a variety of HRIS reports, which may include HR KPI's, compensation, new hire, survey results and termination reports among others; also responsible for providing analysis and recommendations depending on findings.
  • Maintain job description filing and storage system and ensure ongoing consistent practices as they relate to job description formatting.
  • Create, update and maintain organizational charts.
  • Provide customer service to employee population on various issues and escalate to appropriate HR staff member or HR center led team, when necessary.
  • Assist with administration of performance management process, including but not limited to maintaining accurate records and ensuring data accuracy for eligible employee population.
  • Administer Tuition Reimbursement program.
  • Respond to employment verification requests.
  • Conduct exit interviews for terminating intern, non-exempt and limited term employees and coordinate exit process for all terminating employees; this also includes running analytics regarding exit trends.
  • Prepare PowerPoint presentations as necessary for various HR trainings, information sessions, etc.
  • Prepare documents for data entry of employee changes, terminations, etc.
  • Assisting with HR Business Partner projects and associated activities.
  • Merit/Bonus process administration.
  • Responsible for quarterly and annual reporting related to SOX auditing and compliance, and our HRIS systems; Dayforce, Ceridian, Workday. Also responsible for
  • Administer selection process for training and provide On-Demand training system administration.
  • Responsible for auditing HRIS system data and maintaining HRIS controls and compliance.
  • Responsible for developing SOP's.
  • Manage Unemployment claims via Equifax Case builder.
  • Responsible for ensuring invoices are paid timely in OnBase and/or S4/HANA.
  • Partner with HRBP to support employee leave process (ADA, FMLA, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in business, HR or related field required.


  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience.


  • 0-2 years of experience in a Human Resources environment.


  • HRIS System experience highly preferred.


  • Workday, Ceridian Dayforce, or other HRIS experience preferred.

Required Skills

  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.


  • High level of organizational and time management skills.


  • Analytical skills and strong attention to detail.


  • PC skills: ability to create and modify spreadsheets (Excel), proficiency in word processing (Word) and presentation development (PowerPoint).


  • Works well independently, yet is cooperative in working with team members.

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Monday and Friday from home. Tuesday through Thursday in the office.
