Where you will work: This position offers a hybrid work option up to 50% remote and is open to any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin. The contributions you will make: This position is responsible for developing and driving best practices, managing workload, training and monitoring performance across the team of Capital Markets Coordinators. This leader participates in the ongoing design of processes to improve efficiencies and meet Capital Markets goals. Assists in the Capital Markets loan origination process from beginning to end. A typical day:
- Communicates business expectations performance standards to a decentralized team and is responsible for quality control of team's work product.
- Selects, develops, motivates, mentors, evaluates and rewards department team members.
- Promotes a positive work environment that leverages the talents and abilities of team members in achieving organizational and team goals.
- Drives continuous process improvement within the team, developing best practices.
- Plans and tracks the processing of new loans, renewals and servicing actions.
- Follows up with internal and external stakeholders for collection of pre- and post-closing documentary requirements.
- Coordinates and ensures completion of documentation throughout the loan process while maintaining relationships with internal management team, outside lenders and legal firms.
- Submits information to appropriate individual for action to be taken, including sales, credit, loan accounting, borrower, lender or legal firm.
- Independently interprets internal credit summaries and loan documents to perform closing tasks.
- Facilitates knowledge sharing sessions to keep the team updated on industry trends, best practices, and changes in regulations.
- Encourages a culture of continuous improvement by promoting learning opportunities and staying updated on the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies relevant to capital markets.
The skills and experience we prefer you have:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, management, finance or accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Solid related experience in operations, client service, documentation management or accounting support in the financial services industry.
- Management experience.
- Leadership skills to select, evaluate, engage, motivate, mentor, train, delegate, reward and lead remote team members.
- Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
- Skill in developing and maintaining interpersonal relationships.
- High level of initiative.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with other teams to achieve goals and represent the business.
- Solid knowledge of accounting/financial systems and documentation requirements for syndicated loans.
- Ability to solve problems and identify when to escalate issues.
- Advanced organizational skills.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.
Base Pay $66,000 - $99,700 USD
