Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for a dependable and experienced IT Specialist to provide Tier 2 support across a mixed-OS environment with a focus on Microsoft 365 and user productivity. This full-time, onsite role will serve as an escalation point for the service desk, handling more advanced support issues, supporting endpoint systems (Windows, macOS, and Linux), and maintaining user access, system health, and compliance across the environment.

The ideal candidate brings strong M365 experience, excellent troubleshooting instincts, and a passion for providing high-quality technical support in a dynamic, user-focused setting.

What You'll Do


  • Act as a Tier 2 escalation point for service desk tickets related to hardware, software, and user account issues
  • Provide advanced support for Microsoft 365 services including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint
  • Perform user account administration, license management, and security group assignments using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD
  • Provide support for Windows, macOS, and Linux endpoint environments
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues involving desktop productivity tools, printers, networking, and VPN connectivity
  • Assist with Intune-related support tasks, including device compliance and endpoint configuration
  • Monitor endpoint compliance and enforce configuration standards
  • Assist with user onboarding and offboarding processes, including device setup and access provisioning
  • Maintain detailed documentation for systems, configurations, and support procedures
  • Collaborate with IT leadership on small infrastructure projects and rollouts
  • Educate users on secure computing practices and M365 usage


Requirements


  • 5-7 years of experience in an IT support or service desk role, with demonstrated Tier 2 capabilities
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 administration and support
  • Solid knowledge of Windows desktop environments
  • Functional familiarity with macOS and Linux endpoint support
  • Experience with Azure AD, MFA, and basic PowerShell scripting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance
  • Understanding of endpoint compliance and device management tools
  • Working knowledge of basic networking (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple issues, prioritize effectively, and follow through to resolution
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation habits


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between office and production areas and attending events or meetings off-site as needed.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.

ITAR Requirement
