Senior Accountant

This position supports 3 companies in the northwest Ohio service area. While the position is based in Columbus, Ohio, the leadership team for this growing service area is primarily based in Toledo, Ohio. Desired skills include a strong accounting background, collaborative nature and good interpersonal skills.

• Prepares and analyzes financial statements and reports for accuracy and completeness.
• Develops and implements accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Monitors and reconciles general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness of transactions.
• Provides financial analysis and recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
• Manages the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Supervises and trains junior accounting staff, ensuring their work is accurate and completed on time.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or in Business Administration with a major in Accounting, ore related field, required.

• Extensive training in the design and functionality of the AM and AC modules.
• Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

One year of general accounting and general ledger experience, required.
