- Full time, on-site, salaried, exempt position. NSI offers competitive pay based on qualifications and experience, plus opportunities for annual merit increases and bonuses.

The Location: Located in the Schrafft's City Center in Charlestown, Boston MA - the building is conveniently located and offers many additional amenities such as a free shuttle to public transportation, a cafeteria, a coffee bar, an on-site fitness center, and free parking. Responsibilities:
- Work with product development group to transition new products to production
- Work with product engineering group to resolve manufacturing related quality issues.
- Evaluate manufacturing processes and implement approved changes to reduce nonvalue adding activities.
- Create, standardize, and document manufacturing processes.
- Maintain and update engineering drawings and documents.
- Work directly with vendors and part suppliers on quality and/or engineering related issues.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (or related field).
- Required: 3+ years of relevant work experience in a product development and manufacturing environment.
Required Skills:
- In-depth understanding of analog electronics and electronic components.
- Working knowledge of digital electronics.
- Programming experience, preferably in Python
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on experience designing, building and troubleshooting electronic circuits.
- Ability to identify technical issues and propose improvement plans.
- Goal oriented, ability to self-direct and follow through on projects.
Preferred Skills:
- Ability to create and modify mechanical engineering designs and drawings for components or fixtures, preferably with SolidWorks
- PCB layout and design
- Basic ERP knowledge, ability to create and maintain BOMs and work flows.
- Leadership skills, ability to work with and lead manufacturing technicians.
