As a Security Officer - EMT Unarmed in Menlo Park, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help to deter security-related incidents and provide exceptional customer service. Your role involves conducting routine patrols, responding to incidents, and maintaining open communication with staff and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for operating a vehicle as part of your patrol duties. Pay Rate: $30.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential hazards within the government facility.
• Assist visitors and employees with directions and information as needed.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports of daily activities and incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Must possess a valid Emergency Medical Technician EMT certification.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license in the state of employment is required and must meet Allied Universal's driver policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
