Description* Job Title: Technical Liaison - Procurement Support Location: Raleigh, NC (Remote, but must be local in Raleigh area) Position Summary: Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Technical Liaison to support business units and technical teams in navigating the procurement process. This role bridges the gap between end-users and the procurement team, ensuring that hardware, software, and technology services are accurately assessed, recommended, and acquired in alignment with agency standards and operational needs. Key Responsibilities: * Collaborate with internal customers to assess technology needs and recommend appropriate hardware, software, and peripherals (e.g., printers, laptops, specialized tools). * Provide accurate and timely quotes for technology purchases. * Serve as a liaison between business units, IT, and the procurement team to streamline purchasing workflows. * Assign and manage software licenses and ensure compliance with agency policies. * Input and manage procurement data using SAP Ariba * Generate reports on procurement activities, including purchase history, license usage, and budget tracking. * Maintain up-to-date knowledge of approved technology standards and procurement guidelines. * Support contract management and sourcing activities in coordination with procurement staff. Qualifications: Required: 3+ years of experience in IT procurement, technical support, or a liaison role. * Familiarity with SAP Ariba or similar procurement systems. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Preferred: * Experience in a government or public sector environment. Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into procurement specifications.
