POSITION TITLE
Dewey Plant - Operations Manager (Projects)

POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager (Projects) at our Dewey Plantis responsible for leading and managing the plant's capital project portfolio, driving process improvements, and supporting safety, environmental, and cost initiatives. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations while introducing new equipment and products to the facility. The work schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 1st shift.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and coordinate plant capital projects (CapEx) and feasibility studies.
  • Support safety, regulatory compliance, and OSHA VPP Star requirements.
  • Drive environmental compliance with Title V and stormwater permits.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and process reliability improvements.
  • Support associate development, training, and morale across technical teams.
  • Collaborate with operations, engineering, finance, and corporate leadership to align project priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS - REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering
  • At least 10 years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment
  • Proven leadership and project management experience in manufacturing settings
  • Strong knowledge of process safety management (PSM), environmental compliance, and capital project execution
  • Demonstrated success in continuous improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and process optimization
  • This position requires candidates to be eligible to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship for a work visa (e.g., H-1B, TN, etc.)
