Division Information

PACCAR Financial facilitates the sale of premium-quality PACCAR vehicles in 25 countries on four continents worldwide by offering a full spectrum of creative, flexible financial products and value-added services specifically tailored to the transportation industry.

Job Functions / Responsibilities
  • Assist with preparation and filing of PACCAR Financial Corp quarterly and annual SEC forms 10Q and 10K.
  • Prepare timely, accurate and meaningful financial reports, covering various key areas of the business, including portfolio credit quality, credit loss reserve and suspended earnings.
  • Prepare various sections of the monthly internal reporting book for Senior Management.
  • Prepare account reconciliations and month end journal entries.
  • Actively participate in special projects utilizing technical accounting and analytical skills.
  • Support change management of department operational and reporting processes.
  • Lead process improvements and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Other ad-hoc reports and analysis as assigned.
Education
  • BA/BS in Accounting is required
  • CPA/MBA professional certification desired.
  • Public Accounting experience preferred.
Qualifications
  • Three years of related experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
  • Solid analytical and decision-making skills.
  • High attention to detail with a big-picture focus.
  • Strong understanding of accounting concepts and principles and knowledge of financial statements.
  • Must be a self-starter, have the ability to multi-task and prioritize activities to meet the required deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel, Word and Access.
  • Proficiency with Tableau, Power BI and SAP desired.
