Overview Integrated Fires Directorate System of Systems (SoS) Systems Engineering (SE) Support LOCATION:Huntsville, AL JOB STATUS:Full-time CLEARANCE: Ability to Obtain Secret Candidate will serve as the Integrated Fires Directorate, Technical Integration Division, System of Systems (SoS) Systems Engineer responsible for coordinating and directing SE activities at the SoS level. This individual will be responsible for working across PEO project offices and with external stakeholders to implement systems engineering best practices to include the development prioritized capabilities through the maintenance of the IF Capability Roadmap, requirements traceability at the SoS level across PEO MS programs of record, and verification planning in support of the development of top-level SE informed Integrated Fires Test Campaign (IFTC) test objectives. QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or related technical field 3-10 years experience in systems engineering in the defense industry Proven track record of successful complex system integrations Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills Ability to obtain SECRET security clearance (Active SECRET security clearance is preferred) This position is in Huntsville, AL on-site at Redstone Arsenal RESPONSIBILITIES Provide SoS systems engineering support to Integrated Fires Directorate (IFD) Technical Integrator (TI), Program Executive Office Missiles and Space (PEO MS) Support the development and execution of Systems of Systems Engineering processes including systems engineering, systems integration, analysis, and testing of integrated fires across the PEO MS portfolio Support the collaboration with internal and external stakeholders for system of system engineering efforts to include hardware and software requirements specifications, model-based systems engineering (MBSE), and system of system integration and test Support the development and execution of technical plans to meet the overall acquisition strategies and demonstrate the Integrated Fires mission through the maintenance and upkeep of the IF Capabilities Roadmap. Assist in the development of requirements traceability throughout the design, production, verification, validation, and deployment of the weapon system Establish and maintain effective relationships with Project Office personnel and external stakeholders, and inform PM, IF, and PEO leadership of critical activities. Effectively communicate engineering challenges and solutions at the executive level.
