Overview

The Timbri Hotel is seeking a passionate and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic culinary team. Home to four distinctive dining outlets, including our signature rooftop restaurant Rise Over Run, The Timbri Hotel is a destination for innovative cuisine, elevated hospitality, and unforgettable guest experiences. This role is ideal for a skilled chef who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to contribute to a high-caliber food program across multiple venues.



Responsibilities

The Sous Chef will assist the Executive Chef in overseeing daily kitchen operations across all four outlets, with a focus on consistency, quality, and team leadership. Key responsibilities include supervising kitchen staff, supporting menu development, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards, managing inventory and ordering, and mentoring junior team members. The Sous Chef will also play a key role in maintaining the culinary excellence of Rise Over Run, delivering memorable dining experiences that reflect The Timbri Hotel's commitment to innovation and hospitality.



Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a professional kitchen, including at least 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role. A degree or certification from a recognized culinary school is preferred but not required. Candidates must demonstrate strong kitchen management skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of seasonal, contemporary cuisine. Experience working in a multi-outlet hotel or high-volume restaurant environment is a plus.
