The Supervisorof Imaging supervises X-ray and CT. Acts as the point person for the department and serves as liaison between the staff, administration, andthe radiologists.

Primary Duties:

• Develops department goals,objectives, policies, and procedures. Ensures compliance with business unit policies and procedures and governmental and accreditation regulations. Develops and recommends department operating budget and manages resources according to approved budget.

• Selects, trains, orients, and assigns department staff. Develops standards of performance, evaluates performance, and conducts performance management planning. Initiates or makes recommendations for personnel actions. Maintains ongoing communication with subordinates to review programs,providefeedback, discuss new developments, and exchange information.

• Ensures the delivery of quality services inareaof operations. Manages procurement activities including vendor selection,purchasing, receiving, storage, andutilizationof equipment, materials, and supplies. Establishes andmaintainscontractual services.

• Introduces anddemonstratesnew techniques, equipment, and research findings to the staff. Functions as liaison between physicians and staff

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree oran equivalentcombination of education and related preferred.

• Satisfactory completion of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.

• 2 years supervisory experience inappropriate discipline; 4 years technical experience.

• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification, and CT certification.
