We are supporting a leading national general contractor in the delivery of a complex data center project in Amarillo, TX. About the Role:

We are hiring multiple Project Engineers at various experience levels to support field operations across civil, structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, plumbing, and fire protection scopes. Project Engineers will play a key role in technical coordination, field execution, and documentation throughout the construction lifecycle.


Responsibilities:


  • Support field coordination and execution efforts across assigned project disciplines



  • Lead or participate in meetings with design teams, subcontractors, and project stakeholders



  • Interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical manuals



  • Manage submittals, RFIs, change documents, and project documentation



  • Coordinate with design, scheduling, and field teams to ensure successful delivery



  • Assist with layout, survey coordination, and quality inspections



  • Support training and turnover documentation for client O&M teams



  • Maintain detailed records and ensure alignment with project requirements and safety protocols




Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.), Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field; equivalent field experience will be considered



  • Prior experience supporting commercial, industrial, or mission-critical construction projects



  • Familiarity with project management and construction tools such as Procore, Bluebeam, P6, AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks



  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills



  • Ability to work collaboratively across disciplines in a field environment



  • Willingness to adapt to changing schedules and support after-hours or weekend work as needed




Additional Requirements:


  • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening (includes alcohol)



  • Must be able to work on-site daily and navigate active construction environments (including ladders, stairs, and confined spaces)
