Job Summary

We're seeking aRestaurant Managerto oversee daily operations and elevate every guest experience to the highest standard. Reporting to the Restaurant Director, you'll manage front-of-house operations, drive financial performance, lead and develop your team, and ensure our dining room and members' lounge reflect the sophistication and service excellence The Met is known for.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise day-to-day restaurant and lounge operations, ensuring seamless service and world-class hospitality.
  • Manage and monitor expenses, implementing cost-control measures to ensure financial targets are met.
  • Oversee HR functions including hiring, training, coaching, and progressive discipline.
  • Assist with scheduling, payroll, and development of team members to maintain a polished, service-driven culture.
  • Foster strong relationships with members, guests, and internal partners to ensure exceptional experiences.
  • Partner with the Chef and management team to develop menus and maintain exceptional food quality.
  • Launch and execute new culinary programs in collaboration with marketing and culinary leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or Culinary Arts preferred.
  • Minimum five years of progressive leadership experience in fine dining or upscale hospitality environments.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and drive financial results.
  • Experience overseeing high-volume dining and catering operations.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills with a passion for guest experience.
