Job Description:

V2X has a requirement for a Sr. Lead Logistician in support of the Warfighter-Training Readiness Solutions (W-TRS) Program, a $3.5 Billion global enterprise enabled by assured logistics, which be based in Orlando, Florida. The Sr. Logistician will report directly to the V2X W-TRS Program Manager. The Sr. Lead Logistician will lead the management and control of program wide assets (Government and Contractor Property), including responsibility for a central warehouse, global distribution of parts and supplies to over 350 locations, initiating and maintaining the processes, systems, procedures, records, and methodologies necessary for effective and efficient control across the enterprise. The successful candidate must be a United States citizen, with proof of citizenship and a current U.S. passport, and maintain and possess an active Secret security clearance.

Required Hours:

This is an exempt position and the candidate will work a standard 40-hour work week.

Work Location: W-TRS Program Facility (Orlando, Florida). The Sr. Lead Logistician may occasionally be required to travel up to 50% of time to CONUS and OCONUS locations in support of the program.

Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the management and control of program wide assets, including initiating and maintaining the processes, systems, procedures, records, and methodologies necessary for effective, efficient, and continual accountability of government and company property in accordance with applicable corporate and government regulations.


  • Perform all aspects of administrative and technical property administration and coordinate work with teammates across various training platforms (e.g., receiving, inspection, inventory scheduling, movement, hand receipts, storage management, cataloging, property utilization, sub-contractor hand receipts, LTDDs, disposition and task order close outs) related to depot, local, or other supply activities at various sites across the globe.
  • Assist with maintaining property accountability records, determine condition, and arrange disposal of surplus or obsolete material or equipment utilizing PCARSS.
  • Lead internal assessments, auditing of inventory, and oversight of Government Property Loss investigations as well as lead proper property disposition in coordination with the AAS Property Administrator (PA) / Plant Clearance Officer.
  • Manage LTDDs via the DLA-PIEE e-tools website and arrange for disposal of damaged or obsolete material/equipment in accordance with the FAR policy throughout assigned efforts.
  • Assist with maintaining database of various types of files to include Purchase Orders/Receiving, Return to Vendor, EX/IM, Inventory, LTDD, PCARSS, Movement of property, DD1149 and DD250.
  • Assist V2X Material Program Management Team with the management and coordination of property and logistics matters across program locations.
  • Responsible for coordinating and assisting with the management of inventory schedules for all property and materiel; to include sub-contractor inventory.
  • Responsible for coordinating accuracy of initial and replacement material/equipment procurement through established systems; specifically, ensuring accurate procurement efforts are in sync with the property locations and storerooms and proper identification of property classification and all required FAR data fields are populated in MAXIMO.
  • Perform planning, scheduling, and coordination for the movement of materials and equipment to support logistic needs within MAXIMO (virtually) and through other means (Freight Forwarders, coordinates ITAR/EX/IM. Coordinate required documents for Customs and Property Pick up at Central Receiving Points.
  • Participate in Government Close-Out Joint Inventories, as required.
  • Ability to provide advice on government regulations/FAR pertaining to property accountability; develop, recommend, and implement property administration policy.
  • Responsible for the accuracy of supply records in MAXIMO. Monitor actions pertaining to Return-To-Vendor (RTV) documentation.
  • Responsible for other duties as assigned/directed by the Program Manager.



Required Skills:



  • 10 years direct experience performing U.S. Government Property Management.
  • Five years of experience managing the sustainment operational environment, which encompasses tactical, operational, and strategic formations.

Desired Skills:



  • Experience managing DoD property as a contractor or Federal employee in multiple locations, both CONUS and OCONUS.
  • Previous work experience and technical expertise in the use of MAXIMO. NPMA certification as CPPS, CPPA, and/or CPPM.
  • A comprehensive understanding of military training, methods, and devices



Required Education:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Other Requirements:



  • Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a Common Access Card (CAC) through the National Agency Check and Inquiries (NACI) process.
  • Must possess a US Passport with at least 2 years of remaining eligibility.
  • Walk or stand on level and/or inclined surfaces up to 8 hours/day & sit for up to 3 hours/day; climb/descend stairs; grasp or handle objects; use finger dexterity; bend elbows/knees; reach above/below shoulders; read/interpret typewritten print; communicate by voice & detect sound by ear.
