For more than fifty years, we have been bringing people together who are diverse in race, ethnicity, age, sexual orientation, socio-economic background and opinion, to talk with one another about critical issues of our time. We organize events, which we call Circles that are moderated discussions with inspiring leaders from civil society, academia and business. These discussions are interactive, beginning with short introductory remarks from the discussion leaders, followed by audience participation through questions and comments. GCC believes that respectful conversation and dialogue is the necessary starting point for any meaningful social change to take place.

  • Edit and create new short videos clips from discussions we've held
  • Create infographics and/or animated videos that we can use to help explain who we are
  • Participate and help in the organization and promotion of Circles.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions with key GCC staff, board members and volunteers

  • Work study part of financial aid package
  • Students with work study may be prioritized
  • Creative and collaborative
  • Experience with the Canva platform
  • Experience editing short videos
  • Experience with posting content on different social media platforms
  • Ability to work with staff and volunteers and independently

  • Enhanced Digital Communication Skills: Develop the ability to craft compelling, culturally aware, and purpose-driven content tailored to diverse global audiences across platforms
  • Strategic Social Media Planning and Execution: Learn how to plan, schedule, and analyze social media campaigns that align with organizational goals, using tools like Canva, Google analytics, and/or Meta Business Suite.
  • Insight into Global Advocacy and Social Impact: Gain firsthand knowledge of how digital platforms are used to amplify voices, promote social justice, and engage communities in civic dialogue and action.
  • Collaboration in a Mission-Driven Environment: Strengthen teamwork and professional communication skills by working with a diverse team to support events, campaigns, and initiatives that drive global citizenship.

We believe real innovation comes from inclusion - where different experiences, perspectives and talents are celebrated. So if you're wondering whether SNHU is right for you, take the leap and apply. You might be just the person we're looking for.
