This position will be responsible for performing activities in support of ensuring a centralized view of all initiatives within the enterprise project portfolio and helping create a consistent project management discipline throughout the organization. The individual will play a significant role as a key designer to the portfolio analysis, planning, performance tracking, and reporting for the portfolio overall. |

Creates and manages governance structure which reviews, approves and prioritizes requests for organizational projects. Works collaboratively with senior executive team to ensure project portfolio is aligned with strategic objectives and catalyzes Cone Health's ability to fulfill its purpose, intent and strategic plan. Develops and drives best practices for project management tools/technology, methods and training that will improve project efficiency and outcomes. Advises project managers and their teams on the best use of project management disciplines and approaches and acts as the point of contact for program / project management questions. Serves as an internal consultant and mentor to share best practices and help educate project management professionals throughout the organization. Manages Cone Health's project portfolio and reports project status to organizational leadership. Ensures resources are allocated to assigned programs and projects. Works with project leaders to track and report project status and ROI. Ensures all programs and initiatives are aligned to the company objectives, culture and structures, have a sound business case for change and a well-developed change / implementation plan. Partners with leadership and other key stakeholders to identify opportunities to leverage learning from completed projects to elevate performance and efficiency across the enterprise. Builds trust and strategic partnerships with business unit contacts, vendors, project teams and leadership to facilitate two-way communication. Recruits, coaches and retains employees while encouraging personal and professional growth. Creates an inspired culture to engage employees. |
EDUCATION: |
Required: Masters Degree in Business, Organizational Development, Project Management, Organizational Change or other related field. |
EXPERIENCE: |
Required: Minimum 3-5 years full-time experience leading large scale organizational projects required. Demonstrated ability to achieve outcomes, meet deadlines, manage breakdowns and develop sustainability plans to complete projects. |
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: |
REQUIRED PMP or other comparable Project Leadership Certification required. Pending PMP or other certification may be considered if candidate agrees to fulfill requirement within agreed upon timeframe. Valid Driver's license PREFERRED |
