Join Our Team as an Income & Asset Validation Associate We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical professional to join our team as an* Income & Asset Validation Associate.* This role plays an essential part in ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in the review of borrower income and asset documentation. The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, critical thinking, and a commitment to operational excellence.
*Key Responsibilities:* * Conduct thorough and timely reviews of borrower documentation, including pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements, in accordance with company policies, investor guidelines, and regulatory standards * Contribute to income maximization strategies and provide well-reasoned recommendations based on comprehensive analysis * Support the resolution of escalated cases by collecting pertinent information, investigating complex scenarios, and collaborating with team leads and cross-functional departments * Adhere to service-level agreements (SLAs) by rendering decisions within the required timeframes * Participate in initiatives to optimize operational workflows, improve data accuracy, and streamline processes * Maintain a cooperative and inclusive team environment while promoting the organization's core values *Qualifications*: * Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience) * Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in mortgage operations or a comparable financial services position * Proficient in income review methodologies and mortgage documentation standards * Capable of supporting escalations and ensuring compliance with SLA requirements * Strong analytical competencies and familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools * Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams * High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a dynamic and fast-paced environment Ready to help people achieve their homeownership dreams while advancing your career? Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
