* Job Description* TEKsystems is hiring a Lead Low Voltage Technician to assist with the rebuild of their Nashville office. This role supports voice, data, and fire alarm operations and requires hands-on experience with a variety of low-voltage systems. You'll be installing, configuring, servicing, troubleshooting, and repairing systems such as: * Fire Alarms * Access Control * CCTV * Nurse Call * Intercom Systems The ideal candidate leads by example-demonstrating integrity, results-driven focus, and team inspiration-while delivering top-tier service to both internal and external clients. * Responsibilities* * Program, start-up, troubleshoot, and commission new installations * Perform point-to-point troubleshooting on all listed systems * Communicate effectively with project leads and clients * Assist and direct successful system installations * Identify and report system issues to project lead * Review design and contract documents for accuracy * Conduct code-compliant system inspections * Complete detailed project reports * Respond to emergency service calls * Maintain strong written and verbal communication * Exhibit attention to detail and customer-first approach * Participate in rotating on-call schedules * Maintain regular, on-site attendance during business hours * Perform other duties as assigned * Skills Needed* * CAT6 cabling * System installation and termination * Access control setups * Fire alarm systems * Low voltage device integration * Top Skills* * Cat6 * Install * Cable * Installation * Access control * Fire alarm * Additional Qualifications* * Proficient with low voltage systems (fire, access, CCTV, nurse call, intercom) * Strong technical and computer skills * Clear verbal and written communication * Ability to operate lifts and climb tall ladders * Skilled with hand tools and multi-meters * Competent in reading technical drawings and manuals * Comfort working with PMs and reporting field conditions * Follows instructions clearly and thoroughly * Experience Level* Intermediate Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
