 As key part of the Enterprise Data & Analytics Center of Excellence (EDA COE), we empower First Tech business leaders to deliver exceptional member experiences and drive business value through data and insights. The Information Governance Lead will champion our journey toward becoming a data-driven organization. Acting as strategic advisor and catalyst for change, this role will collaborate closely with business units to identify opportunities, align on governance priorities, and foster adoption through influence, education, and enablement. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties 
   Lead the execution of the Information Governance Program, ensuring alignment with enterprise data strategy and business objectivesDevelop and maintain a scalable and sustainable governance framework encompassing policies, standards, and best practicesCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to define and implement governance priorities and roadmapsAct as a trusted advisor to business units conducting structured consultations and discovery sessions to , identifying data governance needs, challenges, and opportunities Translate business insights into actionable governance initiatives that align with enterprise strategy and roadmapsBuild strong relationships with data domain leaders to promote shared accountability and collaboration Design and lead targeted enablement campaigns to promote adoption of data governance practices, including data definitions, stewardship responsibilities, and policy adherenceUse storytelling, success metrics, and business value framing to influence adoption and culture changePartner with internal stakeholders to amplify change strategies, messaging, and engagementWork with internal stakeholders to design and deliver engaging training programs and workshops, tailored to business unit needsCultivate and sustain a Data Stewardship Community of Practice to encourage collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous learningChampion a culture of data literacy and accountability across the organizationPlan, drive, and manage the development and maintenance of Information Governance artifacts, including, but not limited to Business Glossary, Data Dictionary, Data Lineage, BI Catalog, Data Quality, and Data AccessFacilitate the creation, adoption, and enforcement of data policies (e.g., data classification, usage, stewardship, ownership)Define and implement methods to measure and monitor policy adherence and effectivenessEstablish, operationalize, and maintain a scalable data stewardship model with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilityDefine and track data quality metrics, KPIs, and scorecards to monitor compliance with governance policiesCollaborate with data owners and stewards to resolve data quality issues and drive continuous improvementPrepare for and facilitate governance council meetings and working groupsEngage with business units and data domain leaders to align governance efforts with business needsAct as a liaison between business and technical teams to ensure governance practices are practical and actionableEnsure governance initiatives are visible, measurable, and aligned with enterprise prioritiesEssential Skills 
   Minimum 7+ years of experience in Information Governance, Data Management, or related fieldProven experience designing and implementing data governance frameworks and stewardship programsDemonstrated experience developing and delivering training programsKnowledge of change management methodologies and best practicesStrong understanding of data quality, metadata management, and data lifecycle conceptsExcellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skillsWorking knowledge of effective project management methods and programsFamiliarity with general principles of internal business consultingExperience with data governance tools (e.g., Collibra) is preferredFamiliarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., CCPA, GDPR) and compliance frameworks is preferredMinimum Education:Bachelor's/University Degree in Computer Science, IT, or Data Management preferred or equivalent work experience Certification/License: Certification in Data Governance or Data Management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) (preferred) Location:
