General Summary of Position: The Director of the Reader Family Industry Mentoring Program will design, implement, and lead a high-impact and comprehensive mentoring initiative that connects students with experienced professionals across diverse industries. A key responsibility of this role is to match students with appropriate industry mentors based on their academic interests, career goals, and professional development needs. The Director will work collaboratively with faculty, staff, alumni, and corporate partners to ensure the program enhances student career readiness, fosters interdisciplinary engagement, and supports the school's mission of applied, industry-connected learning. Job Duties include: Program Development and Leadership (25%) * Develop a long-term vision and roadmap for the mentoring program's integration into Manning's strategic priorities. Student-Mentor Matching and Support (20%) * Assist in developing surveys and other modes to collect quality information for successful student-mentor matches. Mentor Recruitment and Engagement (15%) * Identify, recruit, and retain a diverse group of industry mentors, with a strong emphasis on alumni and advisory board members. Student Development (15%) * Collaborate with the Manning School Dean's office, faculty, advisors, and career services to identify students for the program. Outreach and Partnership (10%) * Strengthen relationships with industry partners, alumni, and community organizations to expand the mentor pool. Operations and Administration (15%) * Manage budget, scheduling, and program logistics. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Required):
