SUMMARY OF POSITION: In charge of all accounting functions at plant level. List of functions would include financial reporting, forecasts, budgets, variance analysis, capital reports, expense controls, payroll, accounts receivables / payables, inventory costing, audit of physical inventory, internal control documentation, and compliance to Tenneco accounting policies and procedures. Responsible for the entire Accounting / Finance staff. Responsible for administration of plant budget, approval of invoices and analyzation of operating budget for the facility. Controller oversees the accounting and system staff to ensure financial accuracy and control of company's assets. Controller is responsible for analyzing and making recommendations regarding profitability of the business, while interfacing with business unit management and corporate accounting.
