(PT) Assistant Track & Field Coach - WVU Keyser

Potomac State College (WVU Keyser), part of the West Virginia University system of campuses, located in Keyser, WV is seeking applications for a part-time Assistant Track & Field Coach.

About the Opportunity

The assistant coach will assist the head coach and athletics director in all daily operations of the PSC men's and women's track & field teams and also as needed in the Athletics Department.

What you'll do:

• Daily responsibilities of coaching their sport
• Run practices according to the college mission
• Coach in meets and travel with team
• Drive passenger vans as needed for team travel
• Assist in the recruitment and retention of student athletes

Length of assignment: 10 months

Work hours: varies

• Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• A minimum of one (1) years experience competing or coaching at the college level
• Any equivalent combination of related education and/or experience will be considered
• All qualifications must be met by the time of employment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to communicate well, both orally and in writing
• Thorough knowledge of the following computer program: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
• Thorough knowledge of office machinery
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to complete tasks that have set deadlines

• First aid and CPR certification
• Valid driver's license
