You will be based our Springfield, TN. The shift will start at 1:30 pm and end at 11:30 pm Monday-Thursday. This role supports the production line and will follow production needs.

Your main tasks:

  • Help set up various jobs throughout the Fabrication Department requiring startup of equipment from complete shutdown to 1st part acceptance to production ready.
  • Verify set up meets the tool buy off specifications. Ensure the tonnage and SPM match the standard for that part.
  • Recognize routine problems related to daily operation of presses and dies. If needed, assist maintenance and tooling to help resolve any issues.
  • Perform quality setup audits on both progressive and transfer run parts. Train set up personnel when needed.
  • Must be able to troubleshoot and solve die setups issues. Must understand and follow SMED procedures to meet goals.
  • Ensure all documentation is being completed by all set up personnel. Can clearly communicate to supervisors.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Must have previous Electrolux Fabrication set up experience for at least 5 years.
  • Must not have any discipline documentation issue to them in the last 3 years
  • Must have passed Die Setter evaluation.
  • Electrolux license to operate a lift truck required.
  • Math Level 2
  • Steel toe shoes required at employee's expense.
  • Able to bend, stoop, grip, reach and lift up to 40 lbs. on a repetitive basis.
  • Able to stand for the majority of the shift.
  • Must be able to set up all types of dies including progressive, AP&T and HMS transfer systems.
  • Have the ability to train and mentor new set up associates.
