PURPOSE OF POSITION: The Skier Services Sales Supervisor is responsible for managing the front-line skier services sales team's daily operations across multiple resort locations. They must ensure accurate transaction processing and high-quality guest service for sales of ski lessons, ski rentals, childcare, and lift ticket products.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Answer sales hotline and respond to lead and agent questions and escalations
  • Plan, develop, and implement training program components pre-season and in-season
  • Organize, implement, and contribute to pre-season and in-season team communications, including emails, meetings, and video recordings
  • Manage, support, train, and develop team of location leads
  • Continually expand knowledge of resort systems, including DVSS, RTP|One, Teams, and Ikon Resort tools to train, support, and develop team and improve guest service
  • Ensure guest follow up, problem resolution, and documentation of events in guest files
  • Liaise with other departments to create and maintain standard operating procedures in training and problem resolution to ensure continuity and consistency across the resort
  • Prepare staff evaluations and monitor and document employee job performance
  • Visit sales locations to train or resolve issues, including providing support as an agent or lead when needed
  • Mentor and develop team to promote growth
  • Assist with shift schedules, accounting, location set-up/take-down, supply management, transaction processing fixes, and employee recognition and performance management
  • Conduct back-office processing functions, including acknowledgement of risks agreements, activity packets, duplicate guest files, late rental returns, guest inquiries, and other reporting needs
  • Function as a leader in cooperation with other members of the supervisory team
  • Other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Previous sales and transaction processing experience required, preferably as a lead or supervisor
  • Experience with resort systems, including proficiency in DVSS and RTP|One
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with strong Excel skills
  • Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 25 pounds occasionally
  • Able to work weekends and holidays
  • Attention to detail and high-quality standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills - builder of intrapersonal relationships
  • Ability to problem solve and think outside the box
  • Strong organizational and self-prioritization skills - ability to multitask
  • Ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines - possess tremendous patience and understanding
  • Strong sense of customer service and safety awareness
  • Ability to work effectively as an individual and as part of a team, including job sharing responsibilities
