Position Description Summary The IT Infrastructure Services Specialist is responsible for delivering frontline support for hardware, software, and financial applications, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. The specialist will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, manage IT assets, document support activities, and assist with infrastructure upgrades to align with cybersecurity and compliance standards. Primary Job Responsibilities%Time *Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for IT infrastructure, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals, with a focus on minimizing downtime in a high-stakes financial environment.30% *Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows OS, Microsoft 265, Bloomberg terminals, and other investment-specific platforms, escalating complex problems as needed.25% *Support infrastructure upgrades, patching, and deployments in coordination with cybersecurity and compliance teams.20% *Maintain and monitor IT asset inventory, ensuring compliance with security protocols and audit requirements.15% *Document incidents and their resolutions.10% Total100% Ideal Qualifications *Bachelor's degree in computer science, MIS, or related field; or equivalent experience and certifications (e.g., CompTIA, ITIL, Microsoft). *3-5 years of experience in IT service desk or infrastructure support, preferably within financial services or investment management. *Proficiency with Windows desktop environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and scripting (PowerShell preferred). *Familiarity with financial applications such as Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar platforms. *Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset, with the ability to support users in a fast-paced, regulated environment. *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Company & Role Overview Role Type: Full-time employee (FTE) backfill for a previous team member Work Location: Onsite 5 days/week in NYC Industry Preference: Candidates with banking or investment backgrounds are highly valued Culture Fit: "White glove" mentality-professional demeanor, polished communication, and ability to engage with C-level executives Position Details Key Qualities: Strong trade floor or banking support experience is a major plus Leadership/mentorship mindset to help train and guide others Professional appearance and communication style Interview Steps: First round with AVP Second round with VP Final round likely with HR *Experience Level* Expert Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $100000.00/yr. * Medical, dental & vision * Critical Illness, Accident, and Hospital * 401(k) Retirement Plan - Pre-tax and Roth post-tax contributions available * Life Insurance (Voluntary Life & AD&D for the employee and dependents) * Short and long-term disability * Health Spending Account (HSA) * Transportation benefits * Employee Assistance Program * Time Off/Leave (PTO, Vacation or Sick Leave) *Workplace Type* This is a fully onsite position in New York,NY. *Application Deadline* This position is anticipated to close on Aug 28, 2025. h4>About TEKsystems: We're partners in transformation.
